Congratulations go out to Martin Broadhurst for his amazing performance at the 2012 Ontario Provincial Championships. Martin has been working very hard for the last year and has gone from a struggling interclub to a bronze medallist on the Provicial circuit. It was not easy for him due to all of his previous injuries. Martin has been able to push through a fractured rib, a broken finger that has never fully heeled and severely spraining both ankles. He is Halton Hill's first ever provincial athlete and has made everyone at Halton Hills extremely proud, including his coaches Felicia Cyrus and myself. He currently can only train 4 hours a week but when he is in the gym he is pushed to the limit and based on the hard work ethics instilled into him he has been able to excel. Martin hopes to move up to Provincial B next year and one day become Halton Hill's first national Trampolinist. If I am correct that will make him the first ever national athlete from Halton Hills. Congratulations again Martin and I hope you are ready to train like a maniac in the up coming season. Below is a link to his results that have been posted. The link is below. Martin is about the 15th page down in the category labelled " Provincial C 13 and Over". There is a page for Preliminary results and Final results.

Let us hope that our other up and coming interclub athletes can progress in the same fashion as Martin and move up to Provincial next year. I believe people will soon see great things from Halton Hills Trampoline Program.
Thanks
